Canon T7 Vs T7i: Photo Quality
Both of these cameras show the same sensor. They’re capable of shooting the same pictures. So if you are in a studio environment, I’d say pick up the Canon T7 over the Canon T7i.
In a studio environment, you can control every element as far as lighting backgrounds and even your subject moving. But the Rebel T7i is still a better overall camera, and it’s better in every single possible way. That’s because he is priced at a higher price point.
The Canon EOS Rebel T7i can shoot Six Frames Per Second, which is great for Sports and Action Photography. The Canon EOS Rebel T7, on the other hand, can only shoot Three Frames Per Second.
I am now, Talking about AutoFocus. Canon Rebel T7 uses 9 Phase Detection systems with 1 Cross-type, and on the other hand, T7i uses 45 Phase Detection Autofocus.
Talking about the Viewfinder, both EOS Rebel T7i and EOS Rebel T7 uses Optical Viewfinder. While the Canon T7i has an eyepoint of 21mm and T7 has 19mm. Both share the same Viewfinder coverage of 95% along with a Magnification of 0.8X from T7i and 0.82 from T7.
Canon T7 uses Canon EF Lens Mount, and on the other hand, T7i uses Canon EF-S Mount. Overall, both the cameras share the same image specifications.
Canon T7 Vs T7i: Video Quality
If you plan to take a video of either one, I recommend the Canon T7i. That’s because it has a 3.5-millimeter microphone jack. You can plug in a Shotgun Microphone and get much cleaner audio. Canon T7 does not have that microphone jack.
So, unfortunately, you’re going to have to use external recorders, and it’s going to make your post-processing a nightmare.
The Canon T7i can Shoot 1080p Video at 60 Frames Per Second, and the Canon T7 can only Shoot 1080p Video at 30 Frames per second. The Canon Rebel T7i also has Built-In 5-Axis Digital Video Stabilization.
If you want to take a lot of time-lapses, I recommend the Canon T7i because it has built-in software that allows you to take time-lapses.

Canon T7 Vs T7i: Features
Screen
Canon T7i has a flip-out touch screen which is great for taking hard-to-frame shots. The touch screen makes it easier to focus, and you can pinch to zoom to ensure that your pictures are in focus.
But unfortunately, the Canon T7 neither has a Flip nor a touchscreen. Also, you will feel the difference between the quality of both screens in broad daylight.
Battery Life
Both Canon T7 and T7i use the same battery, but Rebel T7i offers optimized processing that yields more shots. The Rebel T7i has a Battery Life of 600 Shots, and the Rebel T7 has a Battery Life of 500 Shots. So with the Canon T7, you’re going to be getting a hundred more shots per battery.
Ease Of Use
So navigating the menu on screens is just going to be a little bit worse. As far as the menu goes, the T7 has Canon’s older menu system, which is still good but not great in the Canon Rebel T7.
On the other hand, Canon T7i has Canon’s newest menu system, which is intuitive, really nice, and easy to use.
Weight
As far as weight goes, the Canon T7i weighs 1.17 lbs / 532 grams, and the Canon T7 weighs 1.05 lbs/ 472 grams. So, the Rebel T7 is lighter than the T7i.
Connectivity
Both of these Cameras have Bluetooth Wi-Fi and NFC. That means that you can use Canon’s Camera Connect App to pair these cameras to your smartphone. You can use your phone on the screen.
And, then You can also change the ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed, all there from your phone. You could also take pictures, so it’s a cool and handy feature to use.
Card Slots
The T7i has an SD card slot here right where it belongs on the side of the camera for easy access. Unfortunately, the T7 only has an SD card here on the bottom, and it belongs on the side. It becomes a hassle to operate with the Tripod.

Conclusion
That’s pretty much about the Canon T7 vs Canon T7i. As I said, both these cameras are great. The Canon T7i does cost more and because of that is a better camera. If I had to choose between one or the other, I would pick up the Canon T7i, and that’s because I do a lot of work with Video.
